Product of the week, Coastal Scents 28 Neutral Palette.

I love smokey brown eye looks.
So when I ran into this pallet, it was like a match made in heaven!!!!
Super amazing price and the colors are so beautiful.

You get a wide range of neutral and browns.
The pigmentation varies, some are very sheer but buildable.
It does have a scent, which I find a little strange with eye shadows.
It smells similar to Vaseline, but it's not that bad to make me stop using them.
There is little to no fallout.
The case it comes in is very thin so I would recommend to leave it in the box that has a little bit of bubble wrap if you are planning on traveling with it or putting it in your makeup case so the don't shatter.

I give this product 8 out of 10, due to the scent and the pigmentation variation.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a large range of colors and at a really great price.
I got mine as a Christmas gift from my amazing father in law.
You can find it on Amazon or on their direct website.
I will post the links bellow to where you can purchase them.

From their website, Coastal Scents, 28 neutral pallet. $11.95 + shipping.
Amazon, Coastal Scents Eyeshadow Palette Neutral, $18.95 + shipping or free in orders over $35.00

Let me know guys if there is any other products you recommend for me to try out.
Thanks for reading!!!

And like always.

My skincare routine.

For the past few years I've been really into taking care of my skin.
Trying out products to see what really works for me.
I have oily/combination skin, I think it is really hard to find products that won't make me look like a stick of butter in the hot sun!

But after many fail products I think I finally found the right ones for me.
So I am here to share it and maybe this will help some of you guys.
I will post links bellow to where you can get the products.

These are the  Products i like to use.

1.  Cetaphil Daily Facial Clenser.
I've been using this product for years!
Nothing gets rid of oil, makeup and dirt like this bad boy.
It is really gentle and I feel so squeaky clean after.

Cetaphil Daily facial cleanser, $5.99- $9.95

2. Facial cleaning brush.
This brush has made the world of a difference to my skin.
I feel like my skin is much softer, even and brighter.
Of course I would love to get a Clarisonic, but they are really expensive for me.
I use this every night and the way I do it is do a pump of my Cetaphil and brush my face in circular motions.

I got mine at TJ Maxx but Sephora has one just like it.

Face complexion brush, $7.00

 3. St. Ives Even & Bright face scrub.
I've been using this face scrub for a month and I love it.
It is a new product from St. Ives and I love this more than the apricot scrub.
The texture is really fine and the smell is ohhh soo good!!!
I do a scrub 3 times a week.
Over exfoliating can really strip your skin and can cause you to break out.

St Ives Even and bright Pink lemon mandarin scrub, $4.50- $5.00

4. Witch Hazel face toner.
I know this is part of the alcohol family but I really like this a a toner.
I've tried Clinique's Clarifying Lotion #3 and that dried out my skin sooo much.
This I feel that for oily skin works really well and it gets all that dirt left behind.
Witch hazel is way cheaper than any other toners out there as well, I got mine at target for less than $2.00.

Up-up Witch Hazel Antiseptic, $1.77 - $5.00

5. Garnier Moisture Rescue Gel Cream.
I love gel creams for oily skin.
Super refreshing and really moisturizing without making you oily.
I gently pat this into my skin.
A little tip for you all is gently slapping your skin, this will bring blood to the surface of the skin and produce collagen.
The protein that helps our skin look young and beautiful.

GARNIER Moisture Rescue Refresh Gel Cream, $7.99 - $9.99

6. Tarte's Maracuja Oil and Maracuja C-Brighter Eye Treatment.
I've only been using this product for almost a week now and I am really diggin it.
I saw this on the Sephora website for only ten dollars, so I thought why not give it a shot!

These products are everywhere, all the beauty gurus on YouTube talk about them and I can see why now.
I did my research on beauty oils for a couple of weeks, I was going to get an argan oil but the oil seemed really thick and I really didn't know how my oily skin was going to react to it.

The Tarte oil seems really light, not a really heavy sent to it and so far my skin looks really good.
I will keep you guys updated on how these products work for me in the next few weeks.

Limited edition, Tarte Bright by night skincare discovery set, $10.00

Well thank you guys for reading and if you have any suggestions on other products let me know and comment bellow.

No frosting? No problem!

Let's face it, we've all done it before.
We make a delicious cake, look in our pantry and no frosting!
Ohh no!!! Our cake is ruined!

Well fear no more my fellow cake lovers!
I have a really simple yet delicious frosting for you.

I like to call it my, chocolate fudge ganache.
3 simple ingredients we have have in our panteries (or we should!)

Chocolate fudge ganache.
  • 1 can of sweet condensed milk.
  • 3 tbs unsweetened cocoa powder.
  • 3 tbs butter or margarine.
These are the products I used for mine.

Hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder.
Taste just like a chocolate bar! Yummy!

Any brand of sweetened condensed milk
I used the Winco store brand.

Butter or margarine.

In a small sauce pan set to low medium heat, melt the butter or margarine.

Once that is completely melted add a can of sweet condensed milk.

You will now add the cocoa powder.

*Here is a little tip for you guys, if for some reason you don't have cocoa powder you can also add Powdered Nestle Chocolate Nesquik.

           Keep mixing!

The mixture will begin to bubble and get thicker

If for some reason your mixture looks really thick, like mine did
go ahead and add more margarine or butter and mix until smooth.

Your chocolate fudge ganache should look like this.
 Ta Dah, it is done!!!!
Nice, creamy and chocolaty!

Let it cool down for a second.
You are now ready to frost, cakes, cucpcakes or just eat it straight out of the sauce pan, my personal favorite!

People will always come for second servings with this yummy, yet not overly sweet frosting.
Enjoy!

Product of the week, MAC's Matchmaster Foundation.

Foundation, foundation,foundation.

The most important product for the canvas ( your face!)
This year I had the hardest time finding the right one after trying out around 5 different types and brands.
Finding the right shade, texture and coverage, can be a pain in the butt.
Until yesterday I saw the light at the end of the tunnel!

The MAC's Matchmaster Foundation.

I have used MAC's Studio Fix Fluid foundation, shade NC25 in the past and I did not like it.
Too cakey and pasty.
I do have oily skin with yellow undertones, it is really hard to find a good foundation.

But this lovely gem is amazing!

The MAC girl was super nice, informative and sweet.
She told me this foundation has particles that adapt to your shade and skin texture.
I am in shade number 3.0, it is a tiny little dark for me right now, but you can barely tell and with summer coming up it will match perfectly with my tan.
It is a light to medium coverage
Two pumps was all I needed.

I am still playing around with it, but so far so good!
I applied with my Real Techniques buffing brush, that comes in the Core Collection, flawless and natural application with this brush.

I highly recommend this foundation to anyone who has oily skin and  looking for a really natural finish.
I will post the links bellow to the foundation and Real Techniques brush set.

Thanks for reading ya'll!
